Why Use a Virtual Stock Trading Game?
Do you know what virtual trading is? Well for those of you who don’t, it is a trading simulation, using “fake money” to buy or sell securities with a real price. You place your trade through a broker as if you were really trading. This gives you the ability to learn and sharp skills as you go. All this without risking any of your hard earned money. Virtual trading games introduce you to tools you will need to know and use when you trade for real.
We, as humans, learn from our mistakes. What better way to learn from our mistakes then not putting our savings at risk. Also, with anything in life, it takes practice to be good. Were you always good at riding a bike, playing baseball or cooking? No, this all comes in time. At TheSpartanTrading.com, we offer different competitions to win real money and actually profit from making good judgments without risk. We give you all you would need to prepare yourself for trading in reality. It is a learning experience, while being fun and exciting, without any of the risk.

Interesting but I don’t see any substance. Recently got introduced to a very exciting website called zoodak.com. I don’t think anyone else is near this one for simplicity and gamey look and feel and functionality.

I think one of the main fears in stock trading is the fear to loose a lot of money, especially for those who are not forex or trading experts. However, playing for small amounts of money can be fun, exciting and you don’t risk that much if you fail to win. The only game I know that gives you this opportunity is Trade2Race.com. I highly recommend!

I think these games are great. I’ve used WSS and UpDown to learn the mechanics of stock trading. They do seem to encourage speculation and trading more than they do investing though. But, I suppose it’s up to the individual to glean whatever lessons they want from using them.
